What this checker does—and does not do

It checks basic file structure and flags a few review heuristics, such as unusually long text lines. Caption quality still needs a person to check the words against the audio, speaker labels, punctuation, language, timing, and context. Different platforms and projects can use different style guidance; these flags are suggestions, not universal compliance rules.
